Ernst Baumgart Nachfolger Trading (an import business) is an equal opportunity employer and has one (1) vacant position for a Stock Controller, permanently based in Swakopmund.
Candidate Profile
- Strong knowledge of stock reconciliation, cycle counting, auditing, and FIFO/FEFO principles
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, stock reconciliation)
- Familiarity with WMS or ERP systems is required
- Clear communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating effectively with warehouse staff and sales teams
- Knowledge of pricing and price lists to assist sales teams with accurate information
- Knowledge of general Health & Safety protocols within a warehouse setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and under pressure with deadlines
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 Certificate required
- A Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration will be an advantage
- 2–3 years of proven experience in a stock control or inventory management role in an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or retail distribution environment is essential
- Experience in pricing and price listings
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday and every second Saturday
