Role Overview
City of Windhoek is looking for a committed and experienced Protection Officer to safeguard municipal property, revenue, staff, clients, and visitors. The role is critical to ensuring the security and integrity of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform protective security duties and conduct regular patrols according to service-level agreements.
- Install and maintain electronic security systems.
- Assist with logistics, transportation, and stock control administration.
- Carry out preliminary internal security investigations when necessary.
Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification (NQA Level 4).
- Minimum of 2 years’ related security experience.
- Valid Code B/BE driver’s licence (mandatory).
- Pre-appointment training/certificates (police training, computer, or electronic security) an advantage.
Compensation & Benefits
- Basic Salary: N$260,256.00 p.a.
- Housing Allowance: N$117,120.00 p.a.
- Transport Allowance: N$30,216.00 p.a.
- Municipal Service Allowance: N$23,028.00 p.a.
