Savanna Beef Operations (Pty) Ltd, established in 2023 by the Beef Value Chain Forum of Namibia, is setting up an export abattoir and red-meat processing facility between Okahandja and Windhoek. The company is an equal opportunity employer and invites suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the following position:
Primary Purpose of the Position
Ensuring all meat cuts are trimmed accurately and hygienically according to specification, maximizing yield, maintaining product quality, and supporting efficient downstream processing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Trimming primary beef cuts
- Separating fat and trimmings into appropriate categories
- Ensuring Good Hygiene Practices at all times
- Strict adherence to all Safety Procedures and Requirements
- Performing ad-hoc tasks as required by management
Qualifications, Experience, Requirements and Skills
- Grade 10 (NQF 2)
- Experience in an FMCG environment is advantageous
- Namibian citizen
- Proficient in English
- Willing and able to work shifts, weekends, overtime and public holidays
