Systems Administrator – Namibia Qualifications Authority

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

To install and configure networks, software and hardware by doing research, making recommendations, maintenance and control to ensure the effective functioning and security of the information systems of the NQA.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Remain abreast of IT developments
• Maintain all information technology
• Manage information security
• Provide IT user training
• Provide IT services to users
• Liaise for external IT service providers
• Supervisor reporting staff

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• B. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
• Microsoft 365 Administrator Certificate will be an added advantage
• At least 4 years of experience in a systems administrative environment.
• Experience in networks, software and hardware is essential.
• Knowledge of website functionalities is required.
