Senior Management: Risk Management and Quality     Assurance

Primary Purpose

To lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Assurance System, ensuring compliance with Namibia Civil Aviation Regulations (NAMCARs) and ISO 9001 standards requirements. Provide meticulous oversight, ensuring that NAC airport operations (Safety and Environment) meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Minimum       Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree NQF level (7) in Quality Management, Risk Management, Airport Operation/ Management, Auditing and or Business Administration with 5 years of related working experience, of which at least 3 should be at a supervisory Level.

OR

Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Quality Management, Risk

Management, Airport Operations/ Management, Auditing, or Business Administration with 6 years related working experience of which at least 4 should be on the supervisory Level.

Valid Code B/BE Driver’s License

Field of Experience 

A minimum of Three (3) Years working experience in auditing or risk management within the safety, environmental and quality assurance management environment.

Added Advantages

Prior working experience in Airport Operations or Quality Assurance will be a strong advantage.

Exposure to risk intelligence principles and practices is highly desirable

Special Requirements

·    Certificate in Supervisory or Management Development Programme

·    Project Management Certificate

·    Professional certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification) or Safety Management Systems

·     Advanced knowledge of safety management Systems (SMS) principles, risk management frameworks, and environmental compliance standards.

·     Expertise in auditing standards and methodologies including risk-based and process auditing techniques

·     Strong knowledge of airport operation and their interrelationship with quality and safety protocols.

·     Familiarity with strategic planning and organizational development to align quality and safety objectives with company goals.

·     Solid understanding of project and financial management principles related to quality assurance programs and initiative.
