Primary Purpose |
The Senior Enterprise Risk Management Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, managing and continuously improving the NAC Risk Management Policy and Framework, ensuring effective risk identification, assessment, and mitigation of strategic and operational risks across all operational areas.
The role collaborates with departments to integrate risk management into decision-making processes, enhancing business resilience while identifying strategic opportunities.
Additionally, the position monitors the execution of risk mitigation plans, evaluates organisational risk exposure, and provides actionable recommendations to strengthen compliance, governance, and overall risk posture, while fostering a mature, risk-aware culture across NAC airports. |

Minimum Qualifications and Experience |
Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Commerce and/or Accounting, Auditing and Risk Management, or Business Administration with at least 5 years of working experience, of which at least 3 should be at supervisory level. OR Diploma (NQF level 6) in Auditing, Risk Management, Airport Operations, and or Business Administration with 6 years related working experience, of which at least 4 years should be supervisory level.
