Manager: Housing & Land Delivery – CITY of WINDHOEK

Manage the Housing & Land Delivery (HLD) function in an efficient and sustainable manner by developing and implementing policies, guidelines and strategises aimed at an intergrated and holistic approach to the provision of Housing & Serviced Land. Promote Economic Development through enhanching the image of the City of Windhoek, hereby establishing the City as an investment destination.

• Manage the Housing & Land Delivery  Division and Human Resources (Human & Fleet).
• Financial Management for all housing and land delivery projects and programmes and procurement.
• Project Management for housing and township development and land delivery(Conseptualization, planning, design, execution, quality assurance and monitoring and evaluation)
• Develop and implement policies, strategies, regulations and the master plan for housing and land delivery (Strattegic Planning 5 – 20 years horizon).
• Keep abreast of international best practice in township development.

Qualification requirements:

Bachelors Degree: Engineering (Civil/Transportation/Industrial/Environmental) and or Project Management.

Experience requirement:

Five (5) years experience in Engineering (Civil/Mecahnical/Industrial or Environmental) and Project Management.

Legal requirements:

Code B/BE driver’s license

Salary: N$1,027,764.00 pa

Housing Allowance: N$ 411,108.00 pa

Car Allowance: N$261,528.00.00 pa
