Job Mission: To drive the growth of the branch network, identifying opportunities for new locations and strategically position Company services in key areas. Ensuring operational efficiency, and overall success of the branch in the microfinance sector. The role involves ensuring customer satisfaction, driving loan portfolio growth, and maintaining compliance with the institution’s policies. Also focus on expanding outreach, ensuring credit quality, and fostering sustainable relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Work effectively as a team member, manage own time in line with the budget, share responsibility, maintain communication and update the Internal Auditor on progress made proactively.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and communicate all challenges, concerns and exceptions to the Internal Auditor, in order to ensure that all assigned tasks are completed and signed-off timely.
• Conduct audits in accordance with IIA standards, ensuring compliance to the Internal Audit Charter, Code of Ethics and Manual.
• Attend relevant meetings with process owners to support the Internal Auditor.
• Execute other duties that the Internal Auditor may assign in their line of work.
• Conduct follow up of audit and regulatory findings to monitor management’s actions on closing these items

• Bachelor’s of Accounting or equivalent
• Proven exposure to internal audit preferably in the financial services industry.
• Good planning and organization skills
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Commitment to continuous learning and willingness to keep up to date on new developments in the internal audit field
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel across the country for branch audits EDUCATION
• Member of a professional body such as the Institute of Internal Auditors would be an added advantage PERSONAL
• Have good time management skills.
