    URPOSE OF THE POSITION

    To produce a variety of quality and fresh meat products by cutting meat accordingly and consistently following production recipes to meet customer needs and achieve profitability.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • National Senior Level Certificate.
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in meat cutting / classification and deboning.

     

     

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Receive and prepare customer orders timeously and efficiently.
    • Prepare meat cuts and issue butchery stock timeously.
    • Ensure that procedures are followed correctly when defrosting stock.
    • Assist customers with enquiries and queries on stock and application/use of products.
    • Comply with the health and safety regulations of the butchery department.
