JOB TITLE: Audit Senior
DIVISION: Audit & Risk Advisory
LOCATION: Windhoek
POSITION SUMMARY:
The incumbent of the position will report to the audit manager and will be responsible for spearheading the Audits in line with the laid-out auditing standards, firm policies and procedures.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI’s):
(The KPI’s include but are not limited to)
• Assist with the planning, budgeting and setting timelines for upcoming audits.
• Brief the Audit Team on their responsibilities and expectations and monitor their progress.
• Maintain a control schedule for deadlines, bills and deliverables and make changes if need be.
• Keep the audit supervisor and all relevant stakeholders up to date with all audit issues and proposed action plans.
• Ensure the audit process is in line with applicable standards by reviewing the work papers of the audit clerks.
• Perform any related task as and when required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Be in possession of a B.Comm Accounting Degree (CA Stream) or equivalent (perusing their studies towards ACCA).
• Attempted CTA or equivalent, having obtained CTA or equivalent will be a definite advantage.
• The use of Caseware for audit purposes will be an added advantage.
• Articles must be signed off.
