JOB TITLE: Audit Clerk
DIVISION: Audit & Risk Advisory
LOCATION: Windhoek
POSITION SUMMARY:
The incumbent of the position will report to the audit senior and will be responsible for audits in line with the laid-out auditing standards, firm policies and procedures.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI’s):
(The KPI’s include but are not limited to)
• Assist with the planning and substantive testing on audits.
• Keep the senior and all relevant stakeholders up to date with all issues and proposed action plans.
• Ensure that audit workpapers comply with International Audit Standards (IAS).
• Perform any related task as and when required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Be in possession of a B. Comm Accounting Degree (CA Stream) or equivalent (perusing their studies towards ACCA) is a minimum requirement.
• Attempted CTA or equivalent, having obtained CTA or equivalent will be a definite advantage.
• The use of CaseWare for audit purposes will be an added advantage.
