Unik Construction Engineering has grown from a small building contractor into a competitive large corporation with 20 years’ steadfast development, Established in 1996 in Botswana, the company has established branches in Lesotho, Zambia, Namibia and South Africa in 2007, 2009 and 2013 respectively. Unik Construction Engineering Namibia (Pty) Ltd, registered in 2013, located at 26 Rensburger Street, Lafrenz, Windhoek, specializes in larger scale projects ranging from road and bridge construction, water and sewer services, residential, commercial, industrial buildings and infrastructure development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and submitting tender documents.
- Coordinate tender requirements with internal departments.
- Collect, organise and maintain tender documentation.
- Ensure tender submissions comply with client and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor tender announcements, deadlines and submission schedules.
- Support the Tender Manager throughout the bidding process.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in tender administration or bid coordination.
- Successful participation in at least one complete tender process from preparation through to submission.
- Good knowledge of Namibian public procurement regulations, tender procedures and compliance requirements.
- Strong organisational and document management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Valid driver’s licence, as occasional in-town meetings with clients or stakeholders may be required.
- Good communication skills in English and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
