Engineer: Design – CITY of WINDHOEK

Design of the transportation network for all modes of transport, including flood management.

• Provide technical and professional advice.
• Plan, design and analyze roads and stormwater systems.
• Call for construction/consultancy bids.
• Conduct Stormwater drainage calculations/apply floodwater control/Structural design of stormwater systems.
• Project management.
• Handle, investigate and report on public queries and comments.
• Handlr, investigate and report on public queries and comments.
• Supervise the work/job activities of the staff members in the Section.

BSc, B Eng. or B Tech in Civil Engineering (Road Design) or as otherwise required by the Engineering Council of Namibia for the registration of Incorporated or Professional Engineer.

Experience required:

Three (3) year job related experience after registration as Incorporated Engineer/Professional Engineer.

Legal requirements:

A valid code B/BE drivers license.

Legal requirement – Professional registration:

Registration with the Engineering Council of Namibia as an Incorporated of Professional Engineer.

Salary: N$ 629,364. 00 pa

Housing Allowance: N$251,748 pa

Vehicle Allowance: N$214,752.00 pa
