HSE Officer Required

Division: Mining (Husab site)
Purpose of the Job
A HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Officer would be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Key Performance Areas
- Operational Safety Compliance
- Workplace Inspections & Monitoring
- Incident Reporting & Response
- Permit to Work and Risk Control Verification
- Employee and Contractor Engagement
- Data Collection & Reporting
- Support to HSE Office and Departmental Initiatives
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 certificate
- Code B driver’s license is compulsory
- SAMTRAC or Certificate / Qualification or Diploma in Safety Management
- Incident Investigation and Risk Assessment training (training)
Experience:
- At least 3 years’ experience in open pit industry, with which 2 years were in a supervisory position
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
